Breathing Room
Yoga & Wellness Studio — Concept Project
Most projects we design for clients. This one we designed because we believe in it
Wellness spaces are where our philosophy lives most fully — the idea that a room can calm the nervous system before a single pose begins. The studio is washed in natural light from skylights above, softened by a canopy of suspended white fabric waves that filter the sun like clouds. Aerial yoga silks hang against full-height glass overlooking greenery, and a glowing meditation niche anchors the room with a single line-art lotus figure.
This concept explores what a yoga studio could feel like when designed with both physical comfort and energetic flow in mind. The layout prioritizes natural light from the east — ideal for morning practice — while the material palette draws from local stone and warm wood to ground the space. In Feng Shui terms, the studio was imagined with the Commanding Position in mind: the instructor's mat faces the door without being directly in line with it, allowing a sense of safety and control. Storage is hidden from the main sightline to keep the energy open and undistracted. The space is designed to feel held — not empty, not cluttered — so that anyone who enters can exhale before the practice even begins. This is a concept project. For studio design inquiries
